Chemistry is a branch of science concerned with the properties and interactions of the substances of which matter is composed. CAPE Unit 1 Chemistry Syllabus provides the specific knowledge base and the skills and attitudes associated with advanced study of the subject.

Virtual or Face to Face Classes
Class Structure:
Each week students receive 3.5 hours of class. The classes are structured as follows:
*2 hours for content delivery
*15 mins for tutorials
*1 hour for past papers
*20 mins for assignment review and discussions
Assignments are marked weekly and individual feedback provided.
Learning Management System:
Students have an online database with recordings of all the classes, tutorials and assignment reviews.
The online database gives personalized 24 hour access to students and parents. Students can review materials at their pace and parents can monitor; weekly attendance, view marked assignments and progress reports.
School Based Assessments:
There is SBA assistance and students who were not assigned the subject at school can do SBAs and sit exams privately.
