Saturdays 8:00-11:00am
Biology is the discipline in science, which seeks to understand the organization of the organic world through an exploration of the structure and function of life forms.
At ExtraTime there is full syllabus coverage in the year. Both 4th and 5th form topics covered.
Virtual or Face to Face Classes
Class Structure:
Each week students receive a minimum of 3.5 hours of class. The classes are structured as follows:
*2 hours for content delivery
*15 min tutorial
*1 hour for past papers
*20 mins for assignment review and discussions
Assignments are marked weekly and individual feedback provided.
Learning Management System:
Students have an online database with recordings of all the classes, tutorials and assignment reviews.
The online database gives personalized 24 hour access to students and parents. Students can review materials at their pace and parents can monitor; weekly attendance, view marked assignments and progress reports.
School Based Assessments:
There is SBA assistance and students who were not assigned the subject at school can do SBAs and sit exams privately.

List Of Lessons
I attended the extra-time CSEC Bio tutoring programme. The classes were very informative and engaging as the tutor Dr. Smith puts a lot of effort in each lesson. She has all the videos for us and is ready to answer all the questions we have so we can get a better understanding of the topics. I highly recommend ExtraTime tutoring as Dr. Smith gives pointers in answering a CSEC question with the required details needed.
Dr. Smith always believed in each and every one of us, even when in doubt she still kept pushing us to the best of our ability. I really admire her professionalism. She is one of the easiest teachers I can talk to in class and also out of class because she isn’t one of those people you are afraid to talk to. Her ability to explain concepts is outstanding. She always corrects every assignment done and gives feedback as soon as possible.
My experience was nothing short of superb. Because of her teaching skills, I was able to receive a 1 in CXC Bio with an AAA profile. She was always accessible and facilitated my questions both in and outside of the classroom. She explained complex concepts in a way that was relevant to everyday experiences. That is what I believe truly sets her apart from other teachers I have experienced. She is a true gem and teaching is her gift
