Class Times:
Sundays: 4:00pm- 7:00pm (Face to Face or Online)
Chemistry is a branch of science concerned with the properties and interactions of the substances of which matter is composed. CAPE Unit 2 Chemistry Syllabus provides the specific knowledge base and the skills and attitudes associated with advanced study of the subject.

Virtual or Face to Face Classes
Class Structure:
Each week students receive 3.5 hours of class. The classes are structured as follows:
*2 hours for content delivery
*15 mins for tutorials
*1 hour for past papers
*20 mins for assignment review and discussions
Assignments are marked weekly and individual feedback provided.
Learning Management System:
Students have an online database with recordings of all the classes, tutorials and assignment reviews.
The online database gives personalized 24 hour access to students and parents. Students can review materials at their pace and parents can monitor; weekly attendance, view marked assignments and progress reports.
School Based Assessments:
There is SBA assistance and students who were not assigned the subject at school can do SBAs and sit exams privately.

List Of Lessons
My experience at Extra Time Tutoring has been worth it for the 3 years that I have enrolled. Dr. Smith has always maintained a high level of professionalism and she was always easy to approach in or out of the classroom. There was always an atmosphere of respect between her and her students and the environment was always kept and conditioned for learning. Dr. Smith has made me achieve my full potential and the grades speak for themselves.
I enrolled my son in Dr. Smith's Class from September 2018. I have seen great improvement in his work and he has grown immensely in self confidence. Dr. Smith is very professional, helpful, kind and understanding. My son was successful in CXC & CAPE Unit 1, Biology & Chemistry, and now he is awaiting his CAPE Unit 2 results and I know he will be successful. I highly recommend Dr. Smith's Extra Time Tutoring!! Dr Smith is an excellent teacher. She is very professional and helped me to understand the core concepts in Cape Unit 2 Chemistry. She is respectful and easy to talk to both during and after class. The location of the class was convenient for me and the work environment was comfortable. Overall 10/10 for the classes.
My three years of attending Extra Time tutoring was well spent. It has tremendously helped me in preparing and passing my exams. My experience with Dr. Smith has been memorable, as she has been responsible and receptive as a tutor, allowing me to be a more confident student and no longer afraid to ask any question in a class atmosphere. Dr. Smith has been a core component of my successes in the CXC examinations by keeping every student up to par and disciplined, by aiding our learning experience rather than spoon feeding each student, for which I am so grateful.
As a parent, working with Dr. Smith over three years was a blessing. I felt confident that my daughter would be successful. I observed the changes in my daughter as she became more confident, focused, disciplined and motivated. Dr. Smith also guided me in order to assist my child. She is respectful, a motivator and a true professional. Overhearing some of the online lectures being discussed during this pandemic I have learnt a lot.
